What am I paying for?

G & C offer a professional service which includes:

• Assisting you with choosing suitable music for your event

• Personalising your event with songs relating to a specific date or anniversary

• Music copies, especially if something specific has been requested

• Rehearsal time to ensure that a professional performance is delivered

• PAT testing and maintenance of all electrical equipment

• Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Our sound technician works with us at every performance to ensure a good balance of sound which is comfortable for the audience. 

 

Can you perform for our wedding ceremony as well as the drinks reception and/or meal?

Yes, Geraldine is an accomplished church organist and Chris is a trained singer so they can usually accommodate your request, whether your ceremony is in church or based in another venue.

 

We want something different for a cabaret event - can you help?

We certainly can! We can put on a themed evening for you, e.g. Jazz Night, 1940's, 50's, '60's evenings, Hollywood Film based cabaret, black tie event - if you have an idea, discuss it with us to see what we can do. Audience participation can be included if required.

 

We are running a charity event - can you perform for free?

All fund raising events are considered on an individual basis, but we do still have some overheads - please see the section above "What are We Paying for? 

 

Can you perform a specific song for our event?

We will always do our best to accommodate your requests, providing we are given enough notice. It can make an event very special to have a song performed which was No 1 on the day your guest of honour was born or married for instance, or if a song is very special to someone. Just ask ...... we will see what we can do.
